MicroSigns’ unique merchandising management system is designed specifically for mobile phone and CE retailers. Controlled over a web-enabled wireless network, MicroSigns lets retailers show and rapidly change complete product and service bundles (including handset information, rate plans, services, accessories, promotions, insurance, and warranties) on eye-catching displays positioned adjacent to featured devices.
Using MicroSigns, complex pricing can be dynamically managed in all locations, ensuring high levels of price and marketing mix compliance. Already being used in Europe and North America, the system easily ties in and works with data from other production systems and processes that mobile and CE retailers use to develop and manage their POP marketing mix.
The system consists of low-voltage interactive smart screens that communicate with a simple in-store site controller, which in turn communicates with a central office management server, and with the retailer’s information systems. Using MicroSigns is sophisticated where it matters, but easy and intuitive for retail operators.
A rights-based user control system also allows all visual merchandising content to be validated online by distributed teams. MicroSigns’ flexible planogram tool provides a fully-configurable, coded reference model for planning, execution, and conformity reporting, and enables real time views of content displayed at each retail position.
